Jordan Ramsey is a Boulder, Colorado-based mandolin player known for his versatility on the instrument. Inspired by bluegrass, jazz, international, and classical genres, Jordan is equally at home at a bluegrass jam, in a swing band, or performing on a symphony stage.

Originally from Tennessee, he attended the Bluegrass and Country Music Program at East Tennessee State University, where he performed with the school's premiere "Pride Band” ensemble and shared the stage with legends Porter Wagoner, Ralph Stanley, Curly Seckler, Tater Tate, and Alison Krauss.

He has studied with mandolin masters David Grisman, Andy Statman, Evan Marshall, and Jack Tottle.

Jordan was the 2016 National Mandolin Champion, the 2008 RockyGrass Mandolin Champion, and a five time top-five finalist in the National Mandolin Championship in Winfield, KS. He has performed at festivals in the US and abroad, including the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival, RockyGrass, Lancaster Music Festival (UK), Evergreen Jazz Festival, Aspen Contemporary Ensemble, and the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra.
